We invite you to a fascinating tour of the legendary Luzhniki Sports Complex — the place where the history of Soviet and Russian sports was made, and where the main competitions of the XXII Summer Olympic Games took place in 1980!

A special excursion program for the 45th anniversary of the Olympics will be of interest not only to sports fans, but also to anyone who is interested in history, design and nostalgia for the Soviet era. This is a unique opportunity to see how sports, architecture and ideology intertwined in one of the largest events of the 20th century.

What awaits you:

  • The Large Sports Arena is the heart of Luzhniki. You will visit the inside of the country's main stadium, where the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1980 Olympics took place, and where the famous Olympic Bear flew into the sky. You will learn how this grandiose facility was created and what records were set here.
  • A walk around the territory - you will see the Small Sports Arena, the Druzhba Universal Sports Hall and other iconic objects that witnessed Olympic triumphs and emotions.
  • The Walk of Fame and the Olympic Flame Bowl - here you will feel the spirit of the Olympics and hear stories about legendary athletes.
  • The Olympic Bear sculpture - take memorable photos with the symbol of the Moscow Games and learn how one of the most touching moments of the closing ceremony was born.
  • The history of the construction of Luzhniki - you will be told how the whole country built the sports complex, what engineering solutions were used and how the stadium changed over time.

Information about discounted tickets:

A discounted ticket is valid for visitors aged 14 and over. To enter with a discounted ticket, a visitor must present the original document entitling them to the discount.

Applies to:

  • disabled persons of groups I and II. The accompanying person (1 person) also purchases a “Concessionary” ticket;

  • schoolchildren, full-time students;
  • old-age pensioners;
  • members of large families;
