The construction of the Sambo and Boxing Centre continues in Luzhniki. The construction of metal structures has already been completed.
They are designed as 78-ton overlap shape. A special crane was used to install them, capable of lifting 750 tons.
The new sports facility in Luzhniki will become a unique place where two centres - sambo and boxing - are united under the one roof. But at the same time, they will work independently from each other.
There are plans to hold competitions of various levels, trainings and theoretical training classes for athletes, coaches and judges at the Sambo and Boxing Centre.
