North and South sports centres are specially equipped areas for football and athletics. The sports centres combine a group of football fields and a building with a complex of changing rooms and showers.
Training fields and a large football field with stands surrounded by athletic tracks are connected to sport centres. Sport centres can be used to host various corporate competitions.
Since December 2019, after a two-year break, the famous Moscow skating rink "South Pole" at “Luzhniki” once again makes figure skating fans happy with magnificent artificial ice and convenient service.
The main difference between "South Pole" and other skating rinks in the capital is that its ice surface is not divided into separate fragments and tracks, but it is a single unit. You can speed on an area of 16,000 sq.m. here. Today it is the largest continuous ice-skating surface in Moscow.
The skating rink was made by using the latest modern technologies that allow maintaining the high quality of artificial ice for a sufficiently long time.
The ice rink's infrastructure is designed to provide maximum comfort to all visitors. There are two changing pavilions at the rink: Standard and Superior.
There are several comfortable warm changing rooms, skate rental and sharpening, a cafe where you can have a snack and drink warm soft drinks.
Another convenience of the ice rink is a parking for 1200 cars very close to the place.
The nearest metro station to the skating rink is Vorobyovy Gory.
